My keyboard lasted over 6 months on the original batteries and that leaves me optimistic. We shall see, it will arrive next week. I have both hooked up to my rarely used Mac Mini, and after a few months of on and off use, the mouse batteries were drained. The keyboard is kicking along just fine, though. If only it was a rechargeable mouse, the short battery life wouldn't be too much of an issue, but as it is, I would expect the worst. I have the older bluetooth mouse (and keyboard) and I think you’ll probably be disappointed.
